Why Attend Our Chuch?
When Paul wrote to the first churches, he described gatherings very different from what we often see today. Their meetings were not spiritually dead or limited to one man preaching. Instead, Paul shows us that every member of the body was involved, moving and participating as the Holy Spirit worked through them.
One person shared a prophecy, which inspired another to bring healing, leading to joy, deliverance, and others being filled with the Spirit. This kind of active, interconnected participation—that’s what real church looks like. Pastors are called to shepherd this flow and guide it according to the Lord’s will, but they are not meant to prevent the Spirit from moving among the people.
Our heart is to bring the body back into church. Pastors have an important role, but they are not meant to replace the body. They serve as the mouth, but if only the mouth speaks while the rest of the body stays still, the muscles weaken, and the body cannot fully display the power of Jesus in the world.
It is always OK not to participate in these active ways and simply come and receive, but our goal for each believer is to help you become active and working and we look to strengthen every ligament of the spiritual body. You and your gifts are absolutely necessary and needed for the whole body to operate properly. If you don't know your gifts, lets find them together!
